  Jesus vs Satan

  my daughter, who's not a jw,is visiting me.

  both her grandmothers are jw, so she went to.. meetings while growing up.

  she is now telling me that she was told ......and always believed ,jehovah created satan first, before jesus.she says the bible speaks of satan in the book of genesis, but not jesus.

  This post should be a sticky for all those poor souls who come here, who know nothing of dubs but find thereselves involved with one.

  At least now laws make it illegal for the elders to camp outside and spy on you to get proof of a breaking of the marriage vows.

  My mother said thats what they did with her 1st husband when he left her (this was the late 60's.)

  Thats the worse book they have EVER published!

  That book alone damn near chased me away. Not only was it a gawd-awful book. not only did it have the nerve to have 2 parts. They actually made us go thru it twice in the bookstudy?!?

  I bet if you took a poll that book is responsible for more people leaving than any apostate demon fornacation or oprah!

  so oompa got df'd this week...

  no call to invite me to a committee meeting...no notification of deciding i should be df'd....no telling my jw wife of the announcement...not a chance to appeal what i did not even know what was going on...my mini-serve son is devasted....he even researched it....told me to go to page 153-154 of the od book...never heard of it but it is a green hardback given to all who are to be baptized.

  wow...the elders broke every rule in this book as to my case.... i have no respect for these men that can take away your jw family without even telling you they are going to.

  my jw son has now begged me to meet with my committee...even though there is prob zero chance they can reverse the decision...that chance is from when they let you know...and you have to appeal by letter within 7 days (i cant make this stuff up!!

  I think he means like armegedon is here right now! similar to what they did in saying that christ started ruling invisibly in 1914.

  I really believe they just want more and more to fall away so they can shut the doors and just chill in upstate NY.

  What is difference between Black Congregations and White Congregations

  i'm from south los angeles and been to black congregations all my life, but i moved 70-75 miles north from where i grew up.

  i just want to know the difference ..

  Like BD said its all subjective.

  One thing Confession and I always talked about black congo's can be a lil loser on the whole DF'd thing. Once again this is subjective.
